Multi-Level-MarketingMulti-Level-Marketing programs are available in countless numbers on the Internet. The first step to success in MLM is in choosing a program that is right for you. The best MLM program for you is one that you can identify with. It is better to feel happy with the product or products on offer than to be dealing with something that has no appeal to you, or worse, something that you do not believe in. Having said that, your success is going to depend not so much upon the Multi-Level-Marketing program, or even the products themselves, but upon your skill in marketing the MLM program. Before joining the program, try to find out as much as you can about the people who are running it. If it turns out that they have been involved in the running of similar ventures previously, find out what happened to those ventures and why. Ask other members if all is well with the program, such as payments being honoured, etc. MLM, as the name implies, involves the marketing of a program by its members for the mutual benefit of all members. There are many variations on the model, but basically, members are required to recruit other members, who in turn recruit more members, and depending upon the particular formula of the program, members down to a certain level become what is known as their "downline". Any MLM program worth its salt will have available to its members plenty of resources and tools with which to market the program. A basic rule of thumb is to make an offer (e.g. an ebook or marketing software) to prospective members as an extra enticement. If you do not get a response then follow up many times (the use of an auto-responder can save a lot of work here), explaining to them the benefits of becoming a member, and perhaps offering more freebies along the way for them to download upon becoming a member. The next part is crucial. You must teach the first level of your downline the same methods that you use to successfully promote the program. And you must teach them to in turn teach their first level the same process. As you can see, this will go a long way to ensuring a large and healthy downline. If you make wise choices, and diligently apply a systematic process, and work co-operatively with your upline and downline, then there is no reason that you should become one of the failure statistics of Multi-Level-Marketing. |
